SPOILER WARNING!
The very popular and very funny computer-animated movie "Monsters, Inc." revealed at the end that while a child's scream could power their city, a child's laugh was much more potent. The laughter was elicited from the child by comedy -- stand-up and physical-comedy, I believe.
Did anyone in our beloved community notice that? Did anyone's imaginations begin to run wild? Something like... oh, I don't know... TICKLING THE KIDS?
As for me, I'm not interested in tickling children at all. I'm interested only in tickling adult women. And if my job was to generate energy for my dear city by getting adult women to laugh their heads off, well, I guess a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. 🙂
I wonder, of course, if a sequel is in the works; a sequel was hinted at briefly during this scene (when the laughter-vs.-scream comparison was made). If a sequel is made, I'd bet that tickling would be at least considered by the movie writers. If it is used in the sequel, we ticklers could be made villians in the community: "You do WHAT to helpless little children? How cruel!" Any person that is out with their tickling interest/fetish might be vilified and ostracized in their neighborhood, place of work, friends, family, et cetera.
Yikes. Not good.
Now, of course, if the movie was written another way, we may be considered cult heroes of a sort: "It's harmless fun! Look, they're trying to power Monstropolis with that curvy college co-ed over there!"
Oh boy. Very good. 🙂
The fantasies alone might power my imagination for months!
