Ross'c cold kept dragging along, for two weeks.
The problem was. that since the cold was not a sinus infection or bronchitis, and due to Ross's severe allergy to antibiotics, between the antibiotics themselves, and the seizure meds mixture and reaction with the antibotics, Ross and Doctors talked about the problem, and Ross was told that he just had to allow the cold (Really two separate colds as he had been sick for a while, it had gone away for a few days, and then come back, let it run its course.
Ross became a bit .. paranoid of using his home computer. Ross knew that he had no choice but to stay home, both to allow himself to get better, and not to infect the people who worked at RossShell with Ross's infection.
Ross spent his days at home, with a nurse, while Kayley went to work.
At night, Ross had no roommate, as Ross slept in the den, and Kayley in Ross and Kayley's bed, so that Ross would not get Kayley sick.
Ross's mind was blank. He had no ideas for new business at RossShell, was not up to talking to Mister P and Steve to plan any trips, because, the reality was, that Ross really had no idea when he would get better, and be able to travel.
Ross started to "play around" in his mind with the idea of starting a new small company focused on one product , that he would do himself, separate from RossShell.
The reality was, that unlike when Ross would take on account after account, get burdened, and pass things on to Vic or the account managers.
Currently, with Jack and Vic basically running RossShell day to day, Ross just "signing off on things" and Ross feeling like Ross himself was "Semi retired" Ross thought that "maybe" he could pull such off, either himself, or with just one partner.
Ross kept said idea completely to himself.
Ross just wanted to get better, and not spark any possible conflict or dispute with Kayley.
Tazzio, who was feeling energized due to having a new higher position, and a new girlfriend, was supposedly "spewing off" about how he was going to "Come back to haunt Ross"
Alan Hell and Tom from Philadelphia, who of course knew Ross's condition, told Ross to just ignore Tazzio,, and that if Tazzio actually did try anything, Alan, Tom, and all legal weapons at their disposal, would deal with Tazzio, severely!
Most important, when would Ross get better? When would Ross be able to go back to the office? Would the "new idea" that Ross had running around in his mind for a small new product or company come to anything? When would Ross get back to being a functioning husband? When could Ross go to OKC (The last part was likely weeks away considering Ross's conditions, and relapses)
All of those things could and would be seen.
