A U.S. music industry group said Monday it had sued 493 more people for copyright infringement as part of its campaign to stop consumers from copying music over the Internet. The Recording Industry Association of America has now sued nearly 3,000 individuals since last September in an attempt to discourage people from copying songs through "peer to peer" networks like Kazaa and LimeWire

Fuck the RIAA... I got Rhapsody; why pay $15 an album, when you can listen to music for free, and only pay 75 cents each for the songs you want on CD. Then there's IRC, which is free, provides free music, and you literally can't get sued for using it....

If they weren't such fat capitalized bastards they wouldn't have to sue. Let's face it: I buy my cd's for $5 at small concerts, bands who haven't got a big record deal sell their cd's for such money, and yeah, they do make a bit of money on that. Sell cd's for $5 and every1 will buy cd's.

I use something better than Kazza or Winmx...and anyhow, most of the mp3s I make or download..The RIAA wouldnt even be looking for them LOL. I had actualy set up a trap for the RIAA amungs this little group I belong to. I made mp3s of these very comical tape edits that I did back in the 80s of Mr. Rogers sounding like a pervert and labeled them various Beatles tracks. Then we passed em all around to everyone in the group. Dont know if the RIAA ever downloaded any but...when the file would open it would read "FUCK THE RIAA" and you'd hear these tape edits rather than the Beatles LOL.
