Is it just me, or do you notice that you feel more ticklish (and I'm not even a very ticklish person) when you're wearing little to no clothing in a cold room?

Definitely not! Warm skin is more sensitive than cold skin. That's why doctors use ice spray when doing minor surgery!

I think in heat where there is more blood flow, there is much more sensation. Maybe you are feeling chilly and vulnerable in the skimpy clothes. Sometimes the more skin I am showing the more ticklish I feel from being more vulnerable. For example in shorts, even in warm weather, my legs feel more ticklish because of easy access. Its a mind thing I think.

Actually, any sort of temperature swing leads to a strong increase in stimuli, so it's not really too uncommon.

Ice spray has Chloroethane in it, which is an anesthetic and easier to handle in liquid form and responds extremely well to cryogenics, so keeping it cold makes sense. Additionally, the cold minimizes swellings, so it makes a lot more sense to just spray it down as opposed to knocking you out. Less side effects.

Thing about ice spray is that it immediately chills one specific area, not affecting the entire body.

its easier to tickle someone maybe...like feet for example in a cold room isn't sweaty at all and nice to tickle...

It probably all depends on the person. I'd think that you'd be more ticklish in a warm room though.

Upon second thought, I am probably mistaking the natural tendency to pull away from a cold touch for ticklishness.

Keep in mind that chilly air will raise goosebumps. More bumps = greater surface area, so you could be feeling the effects of there being more to tickle.

Not really. You will not magically grow more skin just because you're cold. 😉 All that happens is that the hair stands up. You are probably thinking of the lungs here.
