More Ticklish While Pregnant?

I'm curious, is it true that when you're pregnant you're more ticklish? It's just something I've always wondered about. Someone told me that a few years ago but I've never had the chance to find out for sure.

I guess it's possible, there are so many changes occurring in the female body during pregnancy, perhaps all nerve endings become more sensitive?

Any doctors or nurses out there that can confirm or elaborate on this? And I mean real medical practitioners, not naughty 'doctors and nurses' . . . hee, hee . . . 😀

When my ex-girlfriend was pregnant, she was about as ticklish as a rock. After the baby was born, the sensitivity seemed to come back (or she was real good at faking it).

my cousin Valerie was ticklish before she had her daughter 2 years ago. i'm not sure how much it intensified during her pregnancy

My guess is yes only because higher hormone levels seem to make me more sensitive although I can only speak for myself. Right now I'm pregnant and going to NEST in roughly 3 weeks I'm sure I'll have a better answer, lol

You're expecting too? Wow-that's great you ladies are having babies. I'm sorry, but I can't join your club but wish you a healthy and happy time. Tell those folks at NEST to be gentle!

I was so busy congratulating the expectant moms to be that I forgot to answer the question! It depends on the woman and the pregnancy. When I was pregnant the first time, I was meaner than a rattlesnake; he better not have touched me if he wanted to live!

With my second pregnancy, I got tickled a couple of times and I was extra sensitive too. Since every pregnancy is different, sensitivity would be different too.

It really is true. Some women do become drastically more ticklish during pregnancy.

Having spoken to numerous married couples who were

into the scene, the answer seemed to be yes in every case (about 9 different couples).
Anecdotal info is statistically meaningless, remember.

definitely more ticklish!!

At least in my experience. It had made my new wife( who i already considered one of the most ticklish women on the planet) increase her sensitivity a bunch. Whereas I used to be able to rub her feet, now any pressure makes her jump and laugh and swing. When she goes in for her doc appt's they get such a laugh out of her when they touch her. It's almost an amazing thing to watch.
