I was just thinking about where you guys(or girls) think most people are ticklish. Like what is the most common ticklish spot? I would have to say the tummy or the feet

I think I'd have to admit what all the foot people out there would love to hear... because in my own experience the feet have frequently, to the point of almost ALWAYS, been one of the following:

A) The only truly ticklish spot.

B) The worst spot.

C) The only one that cannot be "turned off".

It's always been a case of, "C'mon... I know they're ticklish. If all else fails, go for the feet!" Even in my own case, where none of the above are true, I still have to admit to being relatively ticklish there. I know a lot of people who are extremely ticklish. I know a lot who are hardly at all. I know some who can turn it off, and some who can't. I know people who like being tickled, people who don't mind it, and people who can't stand it!

I don't believe I know anybody whose feet are not ticklish.

I would have to say the underarms. While they are not my favorite place to tickle, I would say that that is the place where most people are ticklish and where people are most ticklish. It may not be the most 'common' place to tickle someone, but I believe it's the place that's most commonly ticklish. Squezing peoples sides is probably what's most commonly done, and it's obviously pretty effective.

From my own experience, I'd say four spots:

1) armpits
2) loin crease
3) perineum
4) between the toes

I always got SOME response at one of these spots at least!

Lady Kilroy: In a professional BDSM studio in Germany, I once met a girl who was terribly ticklish on her upper body, but not ticklish at all at the feet. Before that experience, I had always thought that somebody THAT ticklish sould be at least a little ticklish on her feet, but - zilch! But that was my only personal experience with a woman who's ticklish everywhere but on her feet.

I'm really ticklish in all the usual spots, ribs, stomach, armpits, and feet, but there's one area that's hardly ever mentioned, where I'm absolutely hyper-ticklish, and that's the back of my legs.

Based on a "survey" (hehe) of about 200 women over the past 30+ years, I'd say that about 80% are at least slightly ticklish on the feet. Roughly the same percentage are upper body ticklish, but not necessarily the same women. Like Hal, I've met some who were excruciatingly ticklish on the upper body and not at all on the feet - also some who were ticklish ONLY on the feet.

I'd add ribs/sides to Hal's list. Bound to get a reaction in one of those places - I haven't met many who were totally tickle-dead.

It is hard to say, depends on how you define ticklishness

For me, in my fantasies and hopes she is always very tickish on her feet. But with my love of heavy giggling and uncontrollable laughter, my experience, though limited, has always been the best results occur when ribs are tickled. The shaking, thrashing, out of breath experiences have always come from a good vigorous rib tickling episode. Never got that result from other areas.

most common spot

i did a survey for a statistics class back in collage. i did it on ticklishness of course. i interviewed 100 women. my rl activities have come out the same.

the most common ticklish spot was the underarms.
now that wasn't the most ticklish spot, but it was the answer given the most to the question "where are you ticklish".

sorry to say that feet were dead last.
it has also been my personal experience that the feet on most are just not that ticklish. tis sad, but true...

Tough Question! I, like most here, am ticklish just about everywhere. And yes, I'd have to agree somewhat with the underarm/feet responses for they seem to be quite popular. However, I do know people who have no response to those areas. One place which I think is somewhat overlooked but can be extrememly sensitive is the *inner thighs*! The inner thighs plus hip area can be unbelievably ticklish! Then again, like all the other areas listed, I think it depends on the individual... 😉

Just my own .02 cents here and a confession that I myself have extremely ticklish feet and I freak out with a burst of laughter when someone just lightly touches them ..I might just add that the feet are my Favorite place to be tickled and also my favorite place to tickle when I tickle others !!.Really only other place I'm ticklish is under my arms.I find that some people that have tried tickling me on my sides,stomach,ribs seem to be disappointed when they find out I'm not ticklish in those places.
As for where others are most common ticklish,I'd say definitely the feet and feet are more ticklish if the ticklee has soft smooth soles versus feet that are rough and has some callouses..Anyone else find that is true?.

Sorry everyone! I misunderstood the question. I thought Ttummy was asking where WE were most ticklish 😕
Based on extensive field research, I'd have to say the most ticklish parts of the body are as follows;

1) Armpits - Even when someone's not ticklish anyplace else, the pits are almost always ticklish
2) Ribs
3) Feet
4) Stomach
5) Knees

Of course I'd be willing to do more research on the subject. Any female volunteers?😉

In my experience the most common ticklish spot is the underarms, however, the favorite for most to tickle or be tickled seems to be far and away the feet. Personally, I enjoy smooth clean-shaven underarms!
