Most effective/comfortable toe ties

Hey all! So im building my own stocks at the moment with eyelets to tie toes back. In my experience i have not found what to use and the best way to tie All the toes back so my lees comfortable but still cant move their feet and toes to much. So i figured id ask! Whats the best materal/string etc and the best way to tie toes back. Thanks!

I liked 5 of the smallest sctew-in eyes that you would use in a hook and eye setup, perhaps even the smaller ones would be used as the grasp for cable one would use to hang a picture...

Shoe laces seemed to do the trick neatly. Also twine, gimp (don't go too tight!) or some string. At one time I actually used tiny chain that could be twisted to the desired length with loop rings as ends to hook over the toes. Pretty wild.
