Much beloved preseason

Preseason has rolled up once again meaning that game day is less then a month away.

Joinin the tmf mid way through last season I missed the NFL tipping comp and I am now wondering whos in charge of it, rules and regualtions and if there is going to be one this year.

Greeting german! I am also completly psyched about the impending season! I usually hibernate between February and September, and can't wait for the brisk fall days and football on the tube.

I'm the gent who runs the football pool, and as far as I know, it will be returning this year. There me be some changes this year as I try to make it a bit easier on me to run, but I'll post something before before everything starts, if all goes according to plan.

Wow! You have no (American) football between February and September! I'd go crazy if there was no football (the version the world prefers and which actually features people kicking the ball with their feet) between February and September in the UK. The football season ends in late May/early june and starts up again in mid august. I went to the Middlesbrough Vs Liverpool game myself. Plus every two years there is a major tournament during the summer to keep me entertained. At the end of this 2005/06 season the World cup will be on. Can't wait for it!

All of this means that in any four year period I am only without major football on the TV for about 5 months! Plus, in those 5 months I could watch competitions like the copa America and pre-season tours. So theres major competitive football almost always on the box.
