Hey, did i hear right that some crazy with an illegal gun killed four federal policemen in Canada last week??
I can't believe it! I tried checking the web to confirm the story but i haven't hit on the right site.
What have people heard?
I can hardly believe it could be true! What would make someone do that? And why would someone even have a gun like that in the first place much less get one?
Four RCMP officers were shot and killed in the province of Alberta. The man who killed them and was killed himself, was a marajuanna grow op operator. One of the officers killed had been on the job less than one month and had just proposed to his GF. Another officer, his wife was expecting a baby.
This shooting has deeply saddened our country and hopfully increased our federal government's resolve to create tougher laws to deel with grow ops etc.
Yeah, there are some truly messed up people out there.....
There is something I just don't understand.....yes, it was a tragedy, and the whole county seemed to feel it, but how are the family members left behind ever going to be able to deal with their grief and move on with their lives when everytime you turn on the tv you hear about it? 🙁 I sure don't think hearing 12 versions a day would help me if i was in that position.

You are so right about that, Grrl. I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like for the families. Four young widows, and one had only just said that all important "yes" to her boyfriend. OMG *covers mouth and weeps*
I only hope that when the nation finally goes home, they will all have a chance to grieve properly. I know how hard it is when the town goes home after a death.
It leaves a terrible emptiness - but what about a country??
My heart goes out to all of you in Canada and to the four families in particular.
