OK .... I know it's no good .... but I tried. Can anyone do anything with it? Colour it in or improve it?

Hope you like it anyway.

It doesn't look like a first attempt at all, and I like the almost charcoal look you gave it (whether that was intentional or not). Good work. 🙂

Wow .... thanks Vlad. 🙂

I did it using a pencil, but when I scanned it I selected the "black and white painting" option. That is definately what gave it the charcoal effect .... gave it a much better definition.

Thanks for your kind comments .... very encouraging. 🙂

What program are you using? When I scan a pencil drawing I find the "Levels" adjustment in photoshop is really good for increasing contrast. It makes the whites lighter and the darks darker but you can choose where the middle grey falls. Very good for less-than-clean scans too (like pictures with a lot of eraser marks). you can post the original scan and I can show you what I'd do with it if you want. 🙂

Yes I didn't think it was a frst attempt. Looks really good. The proportion in the figures is good, something I can never get right (its all going so well them - blam! somoene's right foot is too big).

Hope to see more.

Sure, no problem. 🙂

Keep up the good work and don't be a stranger.

Well ... thanks for the positive input everyone. Truth is, I picked up a pencil and paper and in not much more than half an hour produced that. I was trying to be particular about the fingers and body direction. Everything sort of fell into place I guess. Ness .... Here is the original scan .... but you will have to rotate it left before you can do anything else with it. I'm afraid I no longer have the original drawing because I am a closet tickleophile, and I wouldn't want to upset my g/f if she found it (even tho' I doubt she would be upset or surprised). However, this post is the original, first, raw scan of my drawing. To be honest, I did this drawing because I just wanted to post something of my own ideas here. My ideas are all f/m or f/f and I love nylons. I am now begining to think of other ideas just to see if I can carry it off again.

SexyGamesDesign ..... to recieve encouragement from you is an inspiration .... I love your stuff.

Thanks all.

Alan

Oh .... what programme. I used HB pencil and plain white paper to draw, then scanned it with my HP Scanjet 3200C, then selected "black and white drawing (or portait)" and saved it as a jpeg to my pc.

I'll see if I can't make it a bit prettier for you. Photoshop has some truly amazing tools. You can do just about anything with it 😀
I know where you're coming from though. I used to never keep anything that I drew. I would save it up in a hidden place and then burn it periodically with the rest of my junk paper.

Yes I would never throw anything out if I had the chance. In fact, I scan almost everything now and burn backup dvds.

I regret losing a lot of my literature from my days as a writer just because I was cleaning up one day and tossed it all out.
