My Birthday Wish

..well my 21st Birthday is next Monday..Jan 10th..and Krystle has been asking me what i want..well i want to be with her..she said i got that already..then i said i wanted us to be happy together that day..she said i will have that too..I said..how bout some fun tickling her without her ticklin me back and getting me to fall off the bed..she said i got that..so what i need is..

i need all of you..to Pray for her, her family and only grandpa who is going into surgery tomorrow for his heart. My only wish is that he is okay and comes out just fine. My only wish is for this to happen. Please, im just beggin for him to come out okay for her. This is all I want. Honestly. I could careless if I drink and party for my Birthday..knowing her Grandfather is still with her, is all i could ask for..so please pray. Please.

I hope so Vlad, I really do. I wish I could place myself in his spot, that way she could still have her grandpa. All my other prayers have been answered, I really want this one to be. Basically everyone on here knows I love Krystle(AR). She loves her Grandpa, and honestly. if she possesses any traits that he does..he will be a strong willed, determined man. I just want her to be happy and for her family to still retain their grandfather/father in their lives. Thats all I ask for.

please give therabbit, my personal hollywood brother best wishes. Surgery is never easy but they do so much heart stuff that the odds are very good in the favor of the patient. The hollywood brother do not want her to worry even though it is hard to do. The best advice the hollywood brother can give you jeff is to be there for your love as she needs you big time to just be yourself. it will be enough

i honestly would love to trade places with him. Just so he could watch his grand daughter grow up to be a fine woman and to be successful. Shes on the right path. very intelligent and very beautiful. Her family should be proud of her. Me, my family doesnt pay much attention to. Basically, all i got in this life is Krystle, so to keep someone around her who will appreciate her, would mean the world to me, even if it meant taken me outta this world.

Good. Don't ever lose your faith. It has and will continue to serve you well. I've already prayed over this in my daily offerings. If you don't mind, I'd like to offer him up in prayer in my ministry group at church on sunday evening. One of the things we do there is over up or petitions and prayers as a group. Prayer is even more effective that way. So if you don't mind my mentioning to the other members that her grandfather has cancer and is going through surgery so we can pray on it, that would be good. His real name would be appriciated, but it is not completely necessary. We do have a code of confidentiality in my group so you needn't worry about such a thing if you should so choose to provide that information.

He has yet to have his surgery, but is suffering from multiple clogged arteries and needs a triple bypass surgery. It isn't taking place until Friday at 7 in the morning, and will be a 6 hour surgery, so I will be taking work off then. (However they may change the date to Thursday, so I also took work off for then as well). I will be visiting him tomorrow morning for a few hours before I have to go to work. He is taking it quite well (they denied him an angioplasty). (Something tells me I won't be attending work tomorrow though since we are suppose to get 6-8 inches of snow during the morning and afternoon, and my car isn't exactly keen on harsher weather, so I may be seeing him longer.)

I went through something similar w/ my own grandfather when he was 70, and he pulled through just fine. If it's OK, I would like to offer a prayer for your 'Pa at the Buddhist temple here.

Well the surgery was moved to Thursday morning since he was experiencing high amounts of chest pains over night. They did some more scans, and I discovered the artery that is clogged 100% is dubbed 'The Widowmaker' because whenever it's clogged 100%, most people die. My grandma said we must be truly blessed because he still had small amounts of blood going through in other arteries to make up for it. I won't be able to attend it since my aunt (his daughter) wants to be there, but has two small children (my cousins) and had no one to watch them. So I agreed to watch them so she could go. I'll be taking one to school and watching the other, and calling frequently to be up to date on the situation. I'll visit him tomorrow after the surgery, and again on Friday when he is in ICU. He seemed very calm when I was with him today, and joked around with all the nurses coming in and out. My grandma is a wreck, and is staying there overnight to be with him, and everyone decided to let them be alone the night before the surgery so they can talk and be together. All in all it's very stressful knowing how it's affecting her and his moods, but I am hoping and praying everything will turn out fine!

I have been tracking this thread since the beginning. Perhaps there is something more I could say, but nothing is coming.
You have to understand, for some reason, as this operation date is approaching, I oddly feel anxious.
As I type, my mouth is dry and my hands are shaking. There is nothing to help my nevousness for you. All I can hope for, is that everything is going to be all right.
Though it may sound corny and stupid, AR, wish him luck for me.

Sorry about the delay in updating :happy:

His surgery went great, he was out about 1/2 an hour earlier than was predicted and he was healthy again. He regained his natural color that day (it's even better now) and that's not suppose to happen for a day or two!

The only negative thing that has happened is his temperature went up after surgery. That only happens when there is an infection, or when there is stress from the surgery! They had to take all his blankets off and lower the temperature of the room. His temperture did go back down, and he is doing just fine now. Aside from needing alot of rest, things are going great! He's not out of trouble yet though, as they have decided to keep him in ICU all weekend to make sure he is stable.
