Well, Father's Day weekend is over. I ended up having a most pleasant one, if I must say. My friend Barney came down from New York. We saw "The Terminal" (Fine movie, with an excellent performance by Tom Hanks) Had a very nice chinese dinner last night. Then, after dinner, decided to see a second movie, and ended up going back to the theater to see "Garfield" which was cute. Today we had an awesome brunch at a resort called Willow Valley, where we got our usual stuffing of Lancaster food. It was a bit expensive for Lancaster, but I had a good brunch.
Oh, and by the way, if anyone saw my earlier post, at 6pm Eastern time, it looks like I may lose my bet with my mom about hearing from my father. I will pay up graciously, and I feel relieved that perhaps even he realizes that it's over, and wont send me his usual meaningless lies anymore. I feel at peace, and can now go on with my life without him.
