Yeah, I had all of the early Bill Cosby albums growing up. "Revenge", lol. Always separate the artist from the man, there's no taking back those laughs! Wagner was a proto-Nazi, Lewis Carroll was a pedophile......but their work was ace, can't take that away from them, unfortunately. Woody Allen was a great stand-up as well, sorry, can't give back the laughs!

Other fave comedians off the top of my head....one two three go! :

Victor Borge, Lenny Bruce, Rodney Dangerfield, George Carlin, Joan Rivers, Buddy Hackett, Moms Mabley, Andy Kaufman, Eddie Murphy, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman, Louis CK.......geez, I know I'm forgetting somebody. Richard Pryor. George Goebells. Rosie O'Donnell was very funny when she first came out, so was Roseanne Barr. I have to say, just as a stand up, not as a talk show host: Jay Leno was great in the 70s and 80s. So was Gary Shandling and Letterman. Robert Klein. There's so many, I know I'm forgetting someone! Dave Chappelle. Mort Sahl. Gracie Allen. George Burns, without Gracie.

I enjoy the comedy of Dave Chappelle, Larry David, Bill Burr, and George Carlin; David Letterman in his heyday (1980's-90's); the 1980's-90's SNL cast including Phil Hartmann, Dana Carvey, Mike Myers, and Jan Hooks; and last but not least, Johnny Carson.

George Carlin, Robin Willliams, and yes, even Bill Cosby for famous dead comedians whose comedy I loved.

Billy Connolly was fantastic before his parkinson's disease finally started affecting his body. Sad to see him getting thinner and weaker the more time goes by. 🙁

Right now I'm into Lewis Black, Eddie Izzard, Gabriel Iglesias, and Jim Gaffigan.
