My Feet have a new best friend....

I guess you could say I'm a bit obsessive about taking good care of my feet... mostly because I know all you foot lovers are picky as HELL 😉 But also because it really bothers me when my feet start to look dry and calloused. I've tried EVERY foot product on the market - from files to lotions, and everything in between. And as a result, I've got more beauty products for my feet than I do for my face... which I'll admit, is really weird.

I thought the PedEgg was the solution to keeping my feet callous free and smooth until I found this...



I mainly bought this new foot toy because my favorite foot file (yes, I have a favorite... again, WEIRD) broke and I couldn't find another one like it in any of my local drug stores. So when I saw the PediSpin, I grabbed it because it was only $15 and I thought, what the hell, if it doesn't work, no major loss.

At first, I hated it. As soon as you apply any pressure, the thing stopped spinning (I guess the company wanted to make sure you didn't file half your heel off and injure yourself). But after awhile, I got less heavy handed, and started to get the hang of it. You use a metal file head first (similar to the PedEgg) to get rid of the callouses, and then the smoother (kind of like a piece of light sandpaper) head to buff off any file marks.

When I was done smoothing my heels out, I felt them and they were SO soft and smooth, it almost felt like I had a tight piece of saran wrap around my heels. In all the years I've been obsessing about foot care, I have never gotten a result like this. I'm hooked.

Have any of you tried it? I'm curious to see what you guys thought of it....

Haha... very awesome to see you back Daisy.... my ex had one similar and it worked wonders on her feet. Unfortunately she didn't have ticklish feet but it really made em soft. AWESOME. To see you back. Haha I missed seeing pix of your feet and hope u havebeen good and been writing, hope you have happy holidays and show off those sexy feet of yours, haha cuz they are ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

Yes, I bought a pedispin for my wife. She hated the pediegg because it hurts and rips your feet apart. The pedispin is very gentle and very effective. After I smooth her heels with the sandpaper stick-on, her heels are as smooth as a baby's butt.

I took a bit of a TMF hiatus, at least from posting any comments/new pics. Partly because of my involvement with my blog, and also because I took a break from getting pedicures for awhile. My toe nails were starting to suffer from having nail polish on them 24/7 (they got dried out and brittle), and I didn't think anyone would want new foot pics of my icky toes 😉 But after a few months of leaving my nails alone (aside from trimming and filing, obviously) they are back to normal again. It was weird to not have any nail polish on them for so long, and I'm looking forward to painting them for the holidays - kind of a christmas present for my feet 😀

I can't believe a foot care product got by me without noticing - I've never heard of the "Shea it isn't so" foot cream!! Now I'm going to have to go hunting... 🙂

Yeah, I think this product works better than the PedEgg - but it can still cause friction burns if you're not really careful. Right now I'm using it every few days to keep my heels soft. I think once a week would probably be enough, but as I said before, I'm a bit obsessive 😀
