I finally did it; after 20 years I’m going out on my very first date. I have admired this woman for a very long time. However, I finally got up the nervous to ask her out on our very first date in 20 years. We met when we both was teens; we was good friends up into 1998; however, we ended up losing touch because of personality conflicts. We stop talking to each other up until now; I was bless to have seen her again on Thursday October 18, 2007. On that Friday, I got up enough guts to ask her out for a date and she said yes.

I want to learn all about her; her likes, dislikes, hang outs, plans for the future. I hope everything works out for us, I really want it to. :manicd:

I will tell you how the date turns out tomorrow. wish me luck

The report of my date;

First, I like to say I’m sorry to those of you I confused when i posted this thread, I was in the middle of getting ready for my date and I was stoked; to be honest I’m still am.

For those who knows me, I been married for the last 20 years to BJ, she not a member of the community; we been in a rut a little. We decided that we needed to find out more about each other , so we decided to role play; so, I came up with the ideal of a blind date; I pretended that I got her number from a mutual friend of ours.

So, I called her up and setup a date with her, after she said yes I put my plan into motion. The day of the date I went to the store and purchase a small inexpensive gift. I got dress in the basement of the house; once I was ready I went out the back door of the house and waited in the driveway for 15 minutes.

At 6:45 I ring the door bell and introduce myself to her; after some small talk we went to the car and drove to the show. We still was l chatting with each other all the way there, asking questions like we did when we first met. After the show we went to dinner and had a drink; after dinner I took her home, we decided to have a second date next week. I think I’m really going to like this young lady. :wub:

Oh, no, we didn't kiss on the first date her morals is too high

I think this is the most romantic idea I've ever heard of! You had me going for a minute though, you sly fox!!!

I hope all goes well with the both of you; wish more guys were that creative.
 
I gotta tell you....you never cease to amaze me Carlos. LOL I am with Kis..you had me going there. There just are not alot of men with the imagination and foresight to do something like that. I hope someday I can find someone that has the same romantic notions and give hugs like you do.
