My flame is almost out...

I'm a bit pissy while typing this up, forgive for spelling errors.

Has anyone ever been so in love with someone that your heart literally beats for them? Then have them destroy it with their lies, selfishness and outright stupidity?

How do you over come it?
I cannot erase this person completely because I have connections with work with this person.........

Right now. I really really really want to neck myself. Not going to... Just feel like I'd be better off rigt now if I did.

I hate heartbreak!

It's a very hard experience in life, sadly only time heals. Maintain as positive of an attitude as possible, don't stay alone in your room wondering about the what ifs, get out and embrace you're new found freedom. Lean on friends for support, do things that make you happy, overall just create this positive aura around you, and no matter what . . . don't communicate with the life-sucking bitch 🙂.

Been there, yeah. Luckily time heals all wounds, but even though it's been several years I still have it in the back of my mind when I interact with people today. My advice is, just don't let the experience make you cynical of other people in the future.

As for how to get over it... again, time helps. The fact that you can bump into one another at work will of course make it difficult, but I kinda had the same problem, and just trying to ignore it and going about your day does help even in a situation like that.

Friends. Find them, hang out with them. Takes your mind off of things, but don't be afraid to vent if you have to. 🙂 It's a huge help!

I'm sorry you feel that bad, but it's good that you realize it's a bad idea. Give it some time and those feelings will go away completely.

I think "No" is as good an answer as any to your second.
Time heals, so does alcohol, that's how I got through it.

I agree with everyone who said that in time you will get better and to keep your outlook positive. Also, try and find other things to do and keep yourself busy. The more you're doing, the less you're likely to think about it.

At least, that's what I (eventually) did when I went through an event like that.
