I am not sure if he's into the fetish but he brings it up when we're around.
He tells me he is ticklish out of the blue and I don't know how to respond, because I'm kind of shy about it.
Does he want me to tickle him?
What should I do the next time he brings it up? We're just friends (not dating) so I'm kind of shy to just start tickling him but I'm wondering if you can give me advice on what to start saying when he says it.
I don't mind if it LEADS to tickling but I want to know what can I say first...?

Follow that up with "Where are you ticklish?" "What kind of tickling gets you the worst?"

Then.... just calmly tweak his side or grab his foot and ask him more questions.

"Does THIS tickle?"

"What about here?"

"Which tickles more?"

Saying "I am ticklish" is pretty much an invitation to be tickled, whether in a normal or "I'm-weird-and-like-tickling" sense. If he says that, you can then proceed to arch an eyebrow, pinch his sides, and go "Really? Are you?" If he reacts, you can basically now tickle at your leisure.

If that moment has passed, and you want to bring up an opportunity, that's easy. Say you're sitting on a couch together talking. If he ignores you saying something, or makes a joke, you can poke/pinch him and say "Are you paying attention? / Smart-ass! / etc." And if he reacts, you can just follow up with "Oh, are you ticklish?" And... scene.

If he just said it out of the blue, though, that seems a bit odd. Usually people don't admit to it. Sounds like either (1) he heard through a 3rd person you like tickling, (2) he inferred from your tickly conduct you like it, or (3) he just said it.

If tickling is more of a sexual/romantic thing with you, and you don't want to confuse up your platonic friendship, you may not want to indulge yourself. But, you know best. He sounds like an easy target, so have fun!

Yeah coming out and saying it especially out of nowhere is a sign that he wants it lol. Just talk yourself into it and then begin to tickle in a teasing way.

all u need to say is "Really....?" with a cheeky look on ur face and then go for it... simple, if someone told me they were ticklish, i wouldn't hesitate lol
