My Mistress's Hand

A small series of Haiku's I wrote for C.A.B.'s Turning Japanese Anime Madness Contest. They are, for those not too familiar with his work, from the perspective of the Little Slave Girl. She's a character which I've become increasingly fascinated by as of late, and wanted to tribute this work to her, humble as it may be.

My Mistress’s Hand


Palm

Rainbow haired beauties,

Life-sized bound tomes adorned with,

Rope calligraphy.



Wrist

Sadista smiles,

Her visage royal and cold,

As I humbly obey.



Thumb

Eager touches trace,

Virgin skin with practiced hands,

While mistress watches.



Index

Directions recall,

Memories of traveled roads,

Ghosts of yesteryear.



Middle

A barren, dead life,

Taking root like sakuras,

Blooming once again.



Ring

Bringing new warmth like,

A welcoming embrace or,

Freshly tattooed flesh.



Little

Midnight chimes then,

Like familiar laughter,

There’s no home but her.
