My new Yahoo Group....yeah...but for how long?

Well...this will have been my 3rd attempt at Cheshires World. Pretty much every single piece of tickling art I've ever done is here, all in the Files section so they retain their full size. I decided to swallow my pride in order to make someplace where people can see any piece they want of mine without having to search through posts. I omitted some of the less important stuff like a lot of the old character sketches to save space. Even now I'm nearly at my quota for disk space on it.

They disabled the ability to allow non-members to view images so you have to join first unfortunately...Enjoy and be merry...😛

That's Yahoo Bandwith prob for yah X_x. Wish some other folk would get this at other groups I'm a member of (yeah member now yahoo canned my account where I was a mod at a couple groups)

THATS IT....SCREW YAHOO.........."YAHSCREW" I hate you.....I'm done with them....You know that after I was kicked out, a majority of my groups remained open including the original Cheshires World DESPITE THE FACT THAT THERE ARE NO MODERATORS!! I was the only one!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?!?! So their still open, only I can't touch them which means every manner of porn link and spam creeped in and I can't do a thing....

Meanwhile their are actually still adult groups on Yahscrew that contain kiddie porn that have been thriving long and strong for years.....dirty bastards....

I have no idea why though...I mean online I'm pretty opinionated and what not, but in real life I keep to myself most of the time. I live a good life, treat others well, hell I'm the official therapist for my circle of friends I hang out with....I just don't know...

Well.....I was thinking too...images in the Photos section are resized by Yahoo for a reason, to reduce traffic and bandwith. Having ALL of my stuff in their full sized glory was probably just too much for it to handle...

Regarding your bandwidth, and restating the msg I posted to your group: Get rid of the bouncers. They are nothing but leeches, using up the same resources as the other members. Yahoo distributes group resources based on membership size. Only your non-bouncing members contribute to membership size, but the bouncers are still able to use the same download resources as the contributing members. Therefore they are leeches.

Get rid of them and your bandwidth problem will go away.

Give it time. It may take Yahoo a day or two to catch the resources up to the new membership size. Asking him to start all over some place else isn't a good solution.

My problem is finding a provider thats free and allows ADULT content. Have you see some of those Mytheroptera pieces I did???? LOL Yahoo seemed to be the most leniant as long as you put the really adult material in the files section where they couldnt find it at first glance....

That depends. Right now I barely have enough time to do my own stuff with school and work but I'm always open to proposals....

Also, you may want to switch memberships and posts to needing approval from you first before they show up, if you aren't already doing so. Thats what I've been doing for a long time now and it cuts alot of the unnecessary problems away and it keeps spam and leech bots out.

Say, I've been thinking of joining, but can you explain how that process actually works with yahoo?

Do they automatically join you, using the main account? Or can you choose? As I wouldn't want anyone else who uses this computer to get a link to it. :dead:
