My skin vs a feather.

First, about my skin. It is sensetive. Very sensetive. I have to use all natural soaps and lotions only. I shower about 3 times a day and use lotion everytime, so it is soft as a child's skin and probably just as sensetive to sensation. Instead of using a stickly deoderant, I shave my underarms daily and even use lotion and a soft scented power there. Now, about the feather.
I get nervous just looking at a feather, but yesterday, I sat and really looked at a feather. I noticed that the strands of a feather have little feathery prongs on them. I ran the feather over the outside of my forearm. I felt every tiny strand and prong just running it on the skin on the outside of my forearm. I tested the inside of my forearm with the feather. Just from the elbow to the wrist. The sensation was almost too much to bear even there. That was not even the upper part of the inside of my forearm.
I tried to imagine how I would stand such a feather being used on more sensitive, more ticklish parts of my body and I just don't know how I could ever stand it. It makes me shudder just to think about it. Feeling every prong of every strand of that feather the skin of those places. And I know that I would feel every part of that. It would just be unbearable.

i like the detailed description of the feather. Hmm, well yea it might be unbearable but thats why if you wanted to experience something liek that, you find a ler that is understanable and will take things slow with you. Alot of people here are really sensitive in some spots, i know I am. I think that its just you havent experienced it so it kinda scares you alittle, but maybe once you did you'd relieze it wasnt that bad.
