Lily Haze, My Town Meeting, in Burbank, with Tickle Devotees. A Million Laughs!
Hey, had a blast with tickle aficionados at the Whiskey Bend tavern (San Fernando Boulevard, Burbank, pretty much walking distance from my home). I declined alcohol (preferring a fruit drink) but didn't need spirits to kindle the merriment. There was a bit of pit and foot tickling (consensual, of course) but everyone was cool and deported themselves as new friends. I brought along my laptap and screened some outtakes from my tickle videos (stuff that was pruned for time, exceeding the 10-12 minute limit); we also viewed THE FACELESS TICKLER (see photos below; I really had to turn down the volume, what with all of the hysterical howling and tormented laughter; definitely drew inquisitive smiles from the other patrons! Check it out at www.lilysmidnightsnacks.com). I wore a strapless blouse and open sandals, which probably prompted the respectful requests for "a quick tickle"! Anyway, after all of the grueling business of transporting/moving, the town meeting was pretty therapeutic!
Would certainly like to meet other ticklers and ticklees but in a spot closer to home (I'd yield to a friend's Disneyland challenge; I mean, the prospect of being tickled by the Seven Dwarfs is tantalizing but the joint is monitored by civic watchdogs...including Pluto and Goofy. Remember, the Jessica Rabbit tavern was dismantled on Pleasure Island; evidently, some deadheads complained that Jessica was a negative influence). I certainly welcome prospects for other Town Meetings.
