Never been. But an assload of folks go around here. Heard it's got a decent amount of clubs and bars. However, it's totally filled with kids on their Spring Break too.

I dunno about it having anything of great interest. But if you're a club/bar kinda gal, you should have a blast.

People generally go because it's warm and there's lots and lots of cheap alcohol. Around this time every year, there's also a motorcycle show. Other than that, it's fun in the sun.

Speaking of which, have some of that yourself while you're there Babes. 😉

I go a few times a year. I think the only reason anyone goes locally is the get wasted and wake up in a motel room next to god knows what.

If you're committed to being sober then Broadway at the beach is a great place. Its got a crapton of stores and its like you're walking on a fishing dock wherever you go.

There's a few theme parks scattered around to entertain yourself at night, and there are a lot of bars but I don't hang out in them for too long. Myrtle's one of the few party towns where you'll have more fun outside than in clubs.

But a lot of people go down there and hate it, so do whatever.

i take offense to that....i like go for the atmosphere,
than get wasted and wake up next to god knows what.

but seriously myrtle has a lot of great clubs and def check out the house of blues to see if any good shows will be going on while your there.

bike week may get canceled this year due to the retards at city hall listening to the old people of myrtle instead of the business owners.

i hope not though because that is a lot of fun

Just be careful, I heard that you can't be out on the street there after 10pm if your under 21 Amy.

Oh and the restaurants wont serve you if your under 21 without a parent or guardian.

eh dont get to worried bout all those details,
they really don't care to much during the weekends as far as age goes. Just as long as your not wandering the streets smashed. (learned that the hard way....)

plus its not a big deal if the restaurants wont serve you...the clubs will

Broadway At The Beach.

Shopping, food, fun, and visit the IMAX Theatre if it rains. Also you MUST BE 21 to drink, and I think they would defiantly card you.

Also take a a spin on the go carts at NASCAR, visit Ripley's Aquarium, and don't pig out on seafood.

Play Miniature Golf from dawn till dusk. You will probably enjoy a show at The Carolina Opry or The Alabama Theatre.

There are a lot of clubs down there to go to. There are also some cool outlet malls there where you can get some good deals on clothes and things. they recently put in an amusement park near Broadway at the Beach which is pretty cool. There are also places you can go to see shows like the Opery or House of Blues.

Honestly I thought Ripley's was kind of a rip off. I paid like $35 or $45 for stuff that I saw at the North Carolina Aquarium. I just thought it was too much money for what I got to see.

if they let in every weekend a bunch of marines (we tend to stand out) every weekend i think a good lookin chica will have no problems

hell that was the scary part of turning 21 and headin down there.... you never know when ull wake up next to a highschooler

Blech. I've been to Myrtle 100s of times, and it's okay if you're a teenager,
but once I went to Hilton Head Island, Myrtle became a shithole! But if that's
where you've got your heart set on going, there are a few places worth
checking out. Ripley's Aquarium is the best aquarium I've ever been to, and
I've been to plenty. The outlet malls in Conway are nice, and Broadway at
the Beach is decent. Whatever you do, hope you have fun!

OH....and yes...in answer to your question, there is TONS of shopping! 😀. They closed the pavilion which sucks...but broadway the beach is pretty cool. You can check out house of blues too, and, of course...the beach! 😀 Have fun!

i can see it, but there was no need for myrtle to change the helmet law or even continually increase the noise level laws

they made it a city law that helmets must be worn
