Total Muscular Fitness(TMF) and National Endurance and Strength Training-Avenger. This was very clever indeed and was inspired by jane who told us that being tickled was a workot and was like exercising without having to really do anything.

Birdwatching Society- I believe it originiated with Italian_Touch who said he was caught of uard in an elevator last year and answered with the first thing that popped into his head. I guess we just said we collected thier feathers.

Myself, on a few occasions, just told people what it was and gave them a very interesting story to go home with. We were never met with resentment, but a few confused looks were shot our way from time to time.

North Easter Society of Theologians. I explained that we all here shared a common believe and that it was part of who we are and it part of our lives, forever probably in life and possibly in death. (Who knows?)

They bought it every time.

I think that if I were to be asked what we were her for, I would just be honest. What are they going to do, get us arrested? I'm not ashamed of what we come together for. It's part of our personalities and it's our right as humans to indulge in what we enjoy.

Now, don't get me wrong...it's better for some people to not know, like some family members and most of our co-workers. But, strangers at a hotel that we will very likely never see again? Why not tell them the truth? Like James said, leave them with a fun story to tell their family when they go home. Who knows, maybe we'll have new attendees next year as a result!
