Name your price restaurant

I saw a comment from someone who said his chiropractor did this 50 years ago for his services rendered. There are a number of tv shows and movies with town doctors with patients who cannot afford to pay the rate billed. One notable one is BBC's, Doc Martin.

There are musical acts on Bandcamp that have "name your price" where the price of their downloadable music would normally be. Some major acts have taken this approach as well.

Maybe the honor system does work after all.

A number of theatres in my area in UK do a similar thing, but only on certain days - it's called 'Pay what you Can' night - serves the purpose of helping to introduce new people to theatre a well.
