Anyone else get a chance to read the latest chapter of the Naruto manga? Big happenings, including (at last) the answers to two of the biggest Naruto questions around.

I'm also getting a very bad feeling for Jiraiya. He's my second favorite character, after Naruto himself, and I think bad things are in the offing for him. Anyone else care to comment?

In that case... Jiraiya and Tsunade are talking and it is finally conformed that yes, the Fourth Hokage - Minato Namikaze - was Naruto's father. Naruto's mother - Kushina Uzumaki - was a ninja of the former Whirlpool Country. It seems that while Naruto is the spitting image of his father, his personality and fighting style are very much like his mother's.

I've attached the four pages so you can see them... anyone not wanting to see these spoilers... LOOK AWAY!!!

I thought it was gonna be somethiing diff..but my bro ( who got me hooked on Naruto and Bleach) told me the 4th Hokage was Naruto's father. Didnt say who the mother was tho..

At this point they should really add "Spoiler Alert" to the heading of this thread...LOL. I had already figured out that the fourth was Naruto's father...I mean he looks just like him, right down to the spikey blond hair...

....of course with that in mind, the fact that he sealed the fox demon into his own son is kinda screwed up....

Wasn't a spoiler when I started the thread, but Spoiler Alert has been added... so there! :b

Yeah, the thing about the Fourth shouldn't really come as any surprise... I think the info about the mother is much more interesting. As for sealing the Nine-Tails inside Naruto... better to seal it up inside someone you know can contain it (even if it is your own infant son) than just picking some newborn baby at random to do it to (which always seemed kinda mean to me) - hey, kid... you got no parents so we decided to seal a demonic fox inside you... have a nice life!
