For those that don't know and might care, my Spurs are now 1 game away from capping off one of their most successful seasons ever with their 5th championship. I'm going against my 'no bragging in sports' policy this one time, because it feels great to see a team I've loved since childhood continue their success and refrain from making the same mistakes that were made last season.

I had the Heat in 6 before the Finals began.

I'm sure San Antonio Fans all over are excited, especially after last years Heartbreaking Game 6

I thought the Heat would win this series as well, but the Spurs are getting closer! I suspect that Game One had a big impact. Maybe Miami were knocked firmly out of their stride and it doesn't look like they're going to recover, but anything is possible.

In Sports, anything is Possible. So it could happen, but it's highly unlikely.

I honestly think the Heat are already looking at next season.

They're already looking at Options in order to bring in Carmelo Anthony. And literally minutes ago, news broke that Anthony will Opt Out of his Contract with the Knicks, and test Free Agency.

CONGRATS TO THE SPURS ON THEIR 5TH TITLE!!! "TIMMY" DESERVES IT!!!

Only problem now??...we have to listen to the "way overly Heat biased" ESPN, speculate on where Miami (and especially LeBron) will "go from here"...ALL SUMMER LONG!!! It's already started this morning...a lot more "stories" about the Heat's future..than praise to the Spurs!!! Not to mention "oh where, oh where will Carmelo go"..will amp up as the summer progresses!!! It's really a shame..we have ESPN..ESPN2..ESPN this..ESPN that..but what we really need is an "ESPN everything" (like they used to be)..that covers most sports equally!!!

That's my little rant and "two cents", for today!!!

Congratulations to the 2014 NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs!

I cant claim to have watched much of the series, but, I'm thrilled that San Antonio won, and that Miami lost. Tim Duncan gets his first ring in seven years, and fifth overall. Also, I was thrilled that the Heat lost, because, not only cant I stand their team president, Pat Riley, for his arrogance, but.. I was also happy because everyone just assumed the Heat would win.

This might well have been the Last Stand for the Heat. I heard rumors that Lebron James is going to be leaving Miami. If that happens, they wont be winning any titles any time soon.

LeBron said he won't decide on wither to stay in Miami or opt out until after his Vacation. I believe he has until June 29th to Opt Out.

If James, Wade, and Bosh all remain with the Team, that will really limit them in Free Agency. And I like said a couple days ago, they're reportedly looking at Carmelo Anthony. So I believe at least one of them (James, Wade, or Bosh) will not be on the team next season.

I mean going to 4 Straight NBA Finals is an impressive thing to do, and they did win 2 Titles, but I wouldn't put them anywhere close among the All-Time Greats.

Personally, my "Big Three" are Jordan, Pippen, & Rodman when they were all together in Chicago. But that's just me.

I will say this, I do not see Lebron ever going back to the Cavs. Him going back there has been talked about constantly for a long time.

James played well, Wade, Bosch and the rest sucked. Not crazy about the Spurs, hate Heat, enjoyed the NBA and NHL playoffs.
