You bet your ass there are! LOL, I love basketball...my home team, the dallas mavericks, are going into a rebuilding phase....but, im glad we got a solid center in eric dampier....but, nash leaving hurt bad...but I think Jason Terry will fill the void nicely. My favorite teams though are the Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks. I hope one of them win it all this year.

i hate to say this. But the lakers still look quit good even though they Lost a big part of there team with Shaq gone and other key players like Karl and Gary leaving. I don't know what there record is in the preseaon (and i know the preseason means nothing at all) but they still have key players that they got from other teams in the off season that can get the job done. like Odom being one of thoses guys.

But The Blazers are my team they always have been. so it will be surprising to even see how they do this year

I'm a Knicks fan and we haven't been much since the Ewing days. Ah well.. the nice thing about sports.. there's always next year!

LA LAKERS baby!!!!! the Lakers are not going to be as bad as some people think. but, they are DEFINITELY not the favorites to win this year. here's my predictions:

Western Conference: (not playoff order)
1. Minnesota
2. San Antonio
3. Houston
4. Sacramento
5. LA Lakers
6. Denver Nuggets
7. Dallas Mavericks
8. Phoenix Suns

Eastern Conference: (not playoff order, but after the top 3, it's pretty weak)
1. Detroit
2. Indiana
3. Miami
4. New Orleans
5. Philadelphia
6. New Jersey
7. Boston
8. Cleveland or New York Knicks(who else could i pick out of this sad conference?)

Western Conference Finals:
1. Minnesota vs San Antonio

Eastern Conference Finals:
1. Detroit vs Indiana

NBA Finals:
1. Detroit vs Minnesota

NBA CAHMPIONS: Minnesota Timberwolves

the Miami Heat will do well, but the big traitor (Shaq) will learn that he needed Mr. Bryant and Phil Jackson to win. The Lakers are in a learning curve and Kobe will definitely miss the big traitor. should be a very interesting season.

Blazers are going to be the surprise this year. With the addition of Van Excel to compliment Anderson and Damon S., our backcourt will be rocking. Not to mention Zach who has a killer year last year. I really think they finally have a "team" unit, simular to the Blazers of 77' who as we all know smacked the 76ers up against their heads and took the ring over that "superstar" team!!!

Been a Blazer fan since the conception in 70-71. Went to every home game and one away in 77...and I am still a fan today.

Red Hot and Rollin....

peace out,
daddy
