Need some advice

I really need some advice ..because Hopefully i'll be meeting with a girl tonight ... Friday nights plan didn't go smoothly to meet her... i was waiting for her cue to make my way to the meeting place but apparently she was already there for a half an hour... and then when i made my way over she wasn't there anymore.... But hopefully Tonight will work out better...... But I really need some advice ....as to what do i do if meeting fails again tonight?
Also My mind is really focused on meeting her.......But what if something goes wrong and i screw this one up and miss my chance? I'm not certain i know how to handle that type of disappointment especially when it seems she's quite fond of me which is amazing..since i'm not very attractive nor very smart.

I'm just not sure how i should handle if this meet up doesn't work out..or if we don't work.. I've dealt with a massive let down like this before but that was an online friendship.. this one is nearby...

So Does anyone have any advice for my messed up and worried mind? or how to handle the chance of this not working out?

Well first order of business is to calm down, you're not going to make any great decisions while you're stressing out.

You need to go into a date (I'm assuming that's what this is) with an open mind, the whole reason you're there is to get to know this girl and get a feel for how you work together. Don't start off making assumptions about how things can go wrong or put opinions of you in her head before you find out from her because you're just going to be starting off with a bias that you made up in your own head. If things don't work out, they don't work out. You should use it as a way to define what it is you're looking for in a person for the next time rather than what you could have done to make it work with this same girl or even as a way to get more comfortable being on dates in the first place.

If you're going to run late, call or text her (I would say call is best if you're going to actually run noticeably late) and explain the situation. The worst thing you can do is say nothing because she's left assuming you've stood her up. If you haven't already, apologize for what happened last time and then move on from it, you don't really need to let that stew in your mind the whole time lol.
