For anyone that is married, how do you get rid of the pre-wedding jitters, I have them a bit and it is still 2 months away?

You dont get rid of them until after you say I do....

(done that twice now)

'Tis natural my friend......dont fret....they will go away when you see how beautiful she is standing beside you..........

Are your jitters pre-wedding or pre-marriage? I was great with the weddings. The marriages are what I should have been jittery about!

I'll tell you what I told my brother"breathe man breathe" :jester:

1) dont try to plan the wedding by yourselves, get help from family and friends for the scheduling, planning, and sending out invitations
2) maybe the night before, drink a small glass of scotch to take the edge off, its going to be hard to sleep.

Congratulations to you both

The only pre-wedding jitters I had weren't jitters...I was stressed out over the monumental amount of money exiting my bank account for this and that. I felt very lucky that the gifts made up for it, but man, that was a hairy few days.

Whatever you do, the very worst thing you can do is show frustration with it all, and throw your hands in the air. If she gets the impression that you really don't care, you're in for much trouble. It's your wedding too. This is the very biggest day in a woman's life, and she takes it very, very seriously. Just go with the flow, you'll be alright.

As you already know, my friend, I'm only a phone call away.

What I'm going to say comes across best in a good Foghorn Leghorn Texas accent...

"Son, I say Son. Marriage is like taking a hot bath. Once you're in it a while, it ain't so hot." :blaugh:

Seriously though, the wedding is a pain in the ass, there's no getting around it. Best to just plaster a smile onto your face and endure it as best you can. Being married is great when you're with the right person. I wish you two the best!

Being nervous is completely normal. You should take some solace in the fact that you are nervous means you care, which I am sure sinner already knows. I wish you guys the best of luck. you'll be fine.
