I don't know if many of you will remember me by my forum name, but I was the scrawny newbie with the dark brown spikey (Sonic the Hedgehog) hair.
I had a blast at Nest, the community you guys have built is phenomenal and I plan to be back next year.
I wanted to toss a couple quick shout-outs into the forum.
Jamie1862, you're one of a kind, man. You are the posterboy of extroverted and you wear it well. Thanks for the help with the mini burgers at 3am outside the hotel, for introducing me around, and for being a bro.
Irishgirl5, I don't even know where to start. I look forward to walks around the hotel next year. Lupper is now a word in my vocabulary. I'll miss our Ew hunts, untimely toasts, and putting salad cheese in its place.
LeeAllure, it was great meeting you. Thanks for sharing your martini with me, telling me so much about Nest, and for giving me the opportunities to pitch in.
JonMath, thanks for the bondage 101 demo you did. Loved the costumes, maybe I'll bring my Utilikilt next year. I promise to never mistake George Washington's father for Shakespeare again.
The trash can across the loading zone, your nine-square-foot centralized smoking location allowed me to meet so many more people than I could have if, say, there were two trash cans, or God forbid multiple smoking areas.
I can't do personalized shout-outs for everyone like some of you did, I'm just not that creative 😉 ...it's also 4am and I need to work in 4 hours.
