Ok, here I am sitting in the lobby waiting for our last breakfast together. So sad.

And it occured to me it would be interesting to know what everyone was "doing", at least from the point of view of our families, friends, etc.

Myself, I was in Elmira NY, enjoying a weekend long graduation/poker/pool/B-Day party with friends from college who I played poker with all the time.

We went swimming, played basketball and football, went to the casino nearby, etc. etc.

So if people who went to NEST would like to post, tell us what you were doing this weekend.

Conventions...

Well, here I am, leaving Philly from attending an Academic Convention with an emphasis on visiting UPenn and Swarthmore College. Supposedly, we covered topics that range from Quantum Mechanics to Ethical issues of various sorts to the manner in which mathematics and English are symbiotic.

Anyway...

I just told anyone who asked that I was going to a "roleplaying convention." I'm a gamer geek, so everyone just assumed exactly what I wanted them to assume.

I told my family the truth, but not the whole truth. I said, "I'm visiting friends in Philiadelphia for the weekend."

That is certainly true, and I made some new friends also. 😀

As Mercy said, I don't know if my post will count since I didn't attend this year; but seeing as how I plan to come in '08 as well, my story will probably just be "I plan to visit some friends for the weekend"

Its short, to the point and best of all, true 😀
