Hey everyone--

I've been on this forum forever but I very rarely post. That being a situation I'd like to rectify, though, I thought I might post a thread for those planning to attend NEST to get to know one another a little (or to rekindle old acquaintances--shout-out to TTD, Shygirl, Cecilia, Josie, Tickleshotel and whoever I'm forgetting lol). I know NEST technically has its own board, but I thought this post would be better served here (though I'm sure the moderators will relocate it if need be).
Anyway, as for me, I've been to a couple of small gatherings before but am very excited about my first NEST 🙂 I'm a very ticklish switch, and being lee is my favorite--certainly looking forward to meeting some new ler friends 😀 Also will be staying in the hotel on Saturday and Sunday nights, and am planning on bringing my trusty acoustic guitar--anyone fancy a jam session? I know we have lots of musicians in our midst, and I'm sure we'll all be looking for ways to increase our dexterity hehe.
So, hope you'll all forgive me for babbling on but I am fiending for some NEST chatter--hope everyone is as excited as I am 🙂 See y'all in a couple weeks
 
Drew and I will be there as well. This will be number 4 for us. We love getting to see everyone and putting faces to names. We're both switches, though I'm more a lee and he's more a ler. At this point, we plan to simply socialize and not play. There are so many folks that we haven't gotten to do more than say hello to. We want to really start getting to know folks better. So, that's going to be our focus this year. We look forward to meeting all the new folks who will be there and harassing those we've already met.

I will be attending NEST for my 4th time as well. It's an awesome experience every time. I can't express enough gratitude for Jan, Max, Lee, and all the other folks that work behind the scenes to make NEST happen. I'm really looking forward to seeing the NEST regulars who also make NEST what it is. I'm also looking forward to hanging out with first time NEST'ers. You guys are going to love this!

HI tkltorture! Great to hear that you are planning to attend Nest this year too,this will be my first Nest also and I am soooooo excited! :woot: Happy to hear your bringing your guitar,it will be great to see you again 😀
 
Oh some day I'll get to NEST. Being only 20 and in South Dakota it hasn't ever really been more than a dream. But, in the next year or so, hopefully I'll be going to school in PA so that'll make life easier. Hehe, someday. 🙂

I totally remember how excited I was to be attending my first nest and the anticipation of meeting new people never changes. It is always exciting and tons of fun.

I'll be there too!!! LOL of course!

I'm flying in Wednesday. It takes the entire day to fly across the country with the time change but boy is it worth it.

I'll spend Thursday and Friday running around with the gang getting things organized for NEST. The Friday night usually starts the fun with lots of the folks arriving.

I've lost count of how many NESTs I've been to. My first one was in April of 1999. We had a couple NESTs or mini-NESTs each year for a few years and then took it down to just one.

for me... 13 days, 13 days! Yippee!!!!

ticklingfeet4fun and I will arrive Friday evening most likely. I've been told that it's tough to show uip and not have others notice... lol. SO much for being stealthy!
