New (13-III-03) Tickleague Update

Last week brought a great surprise, at least I knew the name of the artist behind the magic at Tickleague: Osaka!
That's a very rewarding surprise since he always seems to be working "in the shadows", and even when I don't have a personal relationsip with him (I mean mail-oriented) I'm always glad to serve as his messenger of updates, it's not a work designed for a Sith Lord like me, but Osaka's work deserves it.
Another update for the high-quality, butt-kicking artwork of the Tickleague site is already up.
To try to describe Osaka's awesome work is like ttrying to define Emperor's "IX-Equilibrium" album or Iron Maiden's timeless "Powerslave" masterpiece in a few words.. just pointlesss

I have a new trick to check the full-sized pic easily:
1) Close all your other opened working 'net windows
2) Close your Kazaa, Morpheus or other music-sharing sites
3) Close the annoying Japanese ad that appears at the main page
4) Go to your computer's Windows and erase all the Temporary files
5) Voila!! a kick-ass picture

AGGRHRRHHRR!!!!!

I hate this. Once again, it just stops halfway down. Plus, how many times must I say this, its only my computer that really has this problem. I delete the .tmp files, close out of EVERYTHING except the picture, and it stills looks like half of it was cut away. Does anyone know if Osaka has updated his group site, and if so, can anyone give me a quick link to it. It worked last time.

Did you use disk cleanup to get rid of the internet files?

Temp files are the files that your internet leaves behind on your computer, or something like that. All I know is that people keep telling me to delete my .tmp files, and it keeps not working. I have a limited knowledge of certain computer proceedures. Could you please tell me how to use this "disk cleanup."

Also, I live 30 miles away from where my internet is connected, so it moves at a snails pace, so I'm not sure if I can deal with the slow loading pics even with a clear computer.

Certainly, I'd be happy to help.

To run disk cleanup (As far as I know, its the same for all versions of Windows), simply open the start menu and goto Programs, Accessories, System Tools and Disk Cleanup. There, you can select to empty the recycling bin, temporary internet files, and a few other things. This is the best way to get rid of the internet files.

You see, the intetnet stores everything you look at in a folder called "Temporary Internet Files". When you go to a page you've been to before, it loads the pictures from there, so you'll keep seeing half a picture again and again until the picture is gone from that folder.

I just keep right-clicking the link and selecting "Save Target As" and overwriting the half-done file. It usually get's the whole thing on the 2nd or 3rd try, sometimes more, but it eventually gets the whole pic saved.

Okay, More Problems

mb20_1, I'm sorry, but I tried it, and it only got half the pic, on the tenth try. It was better, but the good stuff looked like it was at the bottom(always is.) I am afraid I have very little choice. Either kick my computer hard and swear repeatedly, or as once again for a complete posting of Osaka's work in a Yahoo briefcase. I'm sure Osaka won't mind, as long as you don't claim it was your work, and give him credit for it. I really need all the new pics, and am getting despirate.

My tip: Make sure you're not downloading anything else when trying to view these pics. If they still go halfway, try deleting it from the Temporary Internet file for it, as mentioned. That should work, and once again, these are class pics.
