You shouldn't have had to spam your own thread just to accumulate enough posts (which you still don't have, but most likely will due to her and me and anyone who gives you a reason to respond).

The spirit of the 10 post rule is that a member would actively participate (earn) those priviledges by doing some actual, legitimate posting.

Because many are not willing to do that (or argue what legitimate posting is), and simply spam it up to get the required ammount, the spirit of the rule is broken, undermined and now the rule itself is just an obstacle that aggrivates both the new user and the users who have to watch people spam in order to get access to the extras (which many would argue should be default anyway).

Some technicality we've found/put ourselves in.
