I was wondering when someone was going to notice that. I didn't like the way it looked, but I'd already rendered it and I said f**k it. Actually, the arm is fine, it's the angle and the lighting I screwed up. There's a ridge that runs along the edge of the wheel, like the 'lees arms are lying in a trench. I should have adjusted the lighting to bring out the three dimensions of that part of the shot. Usually I spend a lot more time on lighting, shadows and camera angles to try to get that "best shot", but this piece was kind of a pop-off thing. Just something while screwing around reloading the software.
