hey folks, I enlisted a few fellers who know more about *.bat files than I do to see if we couldn't get the TS launch process to be a bit more streamlined. If you haven't been able to get TS to run via the batchfile, try the new version and let me know if it fixes anything.

won't be a new gameplay version for a while yet, as I've got some other more important programming to do for a bit. But I'll be back at it soon. 😀

It says "download the TS Alpha demo today", but doesn't give the link to where you can d/l it... Where is that, exactly?

Um... Okay. I downloaded and unzipped... How do I install it to run it? The little 'launch.bat' icon doesn't do anything. And yes, I'm running Windows. XP, to be exact.

I have got to be a pain by now, but... Java won't download. I picked the JRE and everythin', for Windows. But when I get to the part that says 'save this file now', and I go to save it... MSN dies on me, and I have to restart. I'm gonna go try again, though, for the fourth time.

Sun's website can be a pain in the neck if your connection is less than stellar... they've got very busy FTP mirrors. 😡

Once you've got the JRE downloaded, if you still run into problems after checking the Tech Support page, drop me a line at [email protected] so we can sort it out.
