LMAO! I've always loved Weird Al's work! Although the last album I listened to of his was "Running With Scissors" way back when it was first released in '99!!!!

His last "album" was 3 years ago.
A friend of mine runs a PR firm and I got to work with him at a signing he did for a local record store. REALLY nice guy, very mellow and easy to be around. Pretty cool for a guy who got his start some 30 years ago in college on the Dr. Demento show, making tapes from his dormitory bathroom. Oh, and the new one is pretty cool too, it's actually a CD AND DVD--six new vids on the other side of the disc!

I've been a fan since the early eighties. It's nice to see he's still going strong.

I remember, back in 1992, he did a spot for much music(the Canadian equvallent of MTV). It was called Almusic. It was about two hours long and funny as hell.

He did another in 93. And one last one in 94(but it kind of sucked. He just recycled all the jokes from the first two).

Not that I downloaded the album illegally last week or anything, but the new polka is one for the ages. Right up there with Bohemian polka in my eyes.

I liked about half the album, and that half I liked A LOT. And with a bunch of videos done by famous cartoonists, should totally be worth picking up.

Great piece of work. I have a question for anybody who can answer. Most (if not all?) Weird Al songs are spoofs of popular songs. For example...."My Balogna" was a spoof of The Nack's "My Shirona." "Eat It" was a spoof of Michael Jackson's "Beat It."
