Hi there,

I've long wanted to make my own clip store. Also to encourage a bit more action down here in Australia as in general not much happens! For a huge newbie does anyone have advice?

1. Legal issues - What sorts of things do models have to sign etc what to watch out for legally
2. Getting models - What ad material do people use? do you ever get everyday people or are they usually fetish models?
3. Payrate - Good prices for models and to make it sustainable for me.

I have a place so renting externally isn't a necessity.

Any advice would be great!

The trouble is that in Aussie land you guys have much different laws than we do here in the US. Here they have to sign the model release forms, provide proper ID, and be of legal working authority. Out there you may have very different laws. As for getting models it depends what type of model you want. I just go for every day girl next door types as they are not in a million other videos and have more real reactions rather than the same old models who fake or act in scenes. With the professional models though you do get someone experienced and who knows what they are doing versus amateurs who can be a little hard to work with at times. For pay rate you have to decide what you project for profit and what you think you can safely pay out without losing money. The other thing to think about is possibly letting them work on commission wherein they get a percentage of each sale if they are open tot hat sort of thing.
