Newest Spider-Man animated series

Has anybody seen this? I just caught it for the first time on DVD. I think it's really good on several levels. The animation is topnotch and appears to be drawn on a black background, as was Batman, The Animated Series. The 3D animation is way exciting. The characters display more realistic facial expressions. The fight scenes are incredible. My only slight criticism is that it's hard to accept a blonde Harry Osborn. I'll always remember him with the red wavey hair and the widow's peak.

My only problem is the way Peter and the others talk on the series..they sound like they're trying to do a bad imitation of the ninja turtle Michaelangelo (wasn't one line something like harry saying to peter "c'mon, lets go scarf a dozen glazed." ?)

Since when to people in New York talk like they're surfers(yeah i know not all people in california or surfers in general talk like that, but you know what i mean..)?...Okay, I know one of the turtles did, but it was probably too much tv. lol


Spider-Man's wisecracks are great at times, though.

To Electro: "Man, where were you when we had a blackout?"

Or the conversation with Kingpin:

"Now come on...attacking an unarmed man? That just doesn't seem fair."

"Yeah, but most people don't have arms the size of Brooklyn."

From the episodes I've seen, I haven't heard any cliches . Although Spidey has probably been called his other names like "webhead" "webslinger", etc, on the show
