My artwork doesn't get complaints, and alot of it has been non-tickling. Unless I'm getting special treatment and am an exception because of how long I've been here and so forth.

I would hope no one minds if he does the same, especially as a new user who's looking to be nice and wants to contribute something.

We don't have a non-tickling art forum, so we let non-tickling artwork slide, especially when it's clearly labelled as non-tickling.

In a low volume forum like this, with one or two new posts per day at the most, it just doesn't seem like a huge deal.

And how would that be a disappointment exactly?

Its actually a compliment whether its just you, or some people that would think that way (even if you're joking and didn't mean what you just said). That an exception would be made or I would be given special treatment at all is what makes it so. What a compliment, as no matter what the reason would be from person to person, its implied losing my talents here is not desirable.

I hope this user and others will also benefit from that kind of friendly tolerance and acceptance. It is rather reassuring for me and it would help one appriciate the site more, even though its mainly geared toward fetishism of tickling and focuses on that specifically. 🙂

Actually, the moderators I spoke to about it when it came up didn't refer to it as merely letting it "slide", as if it would otherwise be unwelcome under different circumstances. I was pretty reassured that all artwork is welcome here. You hold a higher position than the moderators who told me that, so perhaps theres a difference of opinion still, and yours would be the official one but I do agree with you in not making it a huge deal. But there have been and probably secretly are others who want to make an issue of it.

In fact, there was this one person a long time ago whom was a known trouble-maker about this sort of thing. And it was that incident which led to the moderators (after warning him) assuring me that any artwork was ok and welcome, especially after this user went overboard and started verbally assaulting me as if what I was doing in sharing some of my non-tickling art would somehow upset the balance of tickling art on this site. Now how could that possibly happen with all the other talent we have that share nothing but tickling work? LOL

I felt that was funny. Especially after all the trouble this person went through to e-mail and harass me and such.

I certainly don't want to get into a semantics debate about it, but I feel compelled to explain myself now. This is a tickling forum, and with the exception of the non-tickling images forum any media post that isn't about tickling is technically off-topic. The "original artwork" forum specifically says in the description that it's for tickling artwork. So when I said "let it slide" I was referring to that along with morgans comment about it being special treatment. I was trying to make the point that it's not about you specifically, it's about a decision we've all made to not make an issue out of it, to let people post non-tickling artwork there more-or-less freely.

I suppose I was also referring to the fact that it is an unofficial policy. If we suddenly discovered that tickling artwork was outnumbered there 4 to 1, we would probably start making a bigger deal out of the fact that its for tickling content, and when we did we would not be undoing any previous rules, we would just be acting on the ones that are in place now. So even though nobody minds it at all, and in fact we welcome all of your excellent work (of which I am a big fan) we are technically letting anything that isn't about tickling specifically "slide".

I'm sure that whatever the other "moderators" said about it, "they" were ultimately referring to the same thing I'm talking about here, that it's absolutely no problem at all, but technically a violation of the posting guidelines.

No need to explain (though I'm glad you did), I know what you mean already, and I know the guidelines as they have been set. This was already explained by Dave (one of the moderators I didn't name) the last time. And while it was common sense, that this is a tickling website for tickling content, I already knew what he and you would have told me about it in that regard.

Its always good to hear it again though just for reassurance, and also so that people who believe anything non-tickling should not be here can see that it is officially allowed and no ill is being spoken of it. It makes it less likely these people will complain either to you or to me (only that one person has complained to me, but never anyone else), and its just as important that THEY understand what is allowable before they jump on anyone's case or complain.

The fact Battousai had to warn the author of this thread that he may want to watch out because its not tickling and people might take issue with that is what compelled me to bring up the last issue and the fact that kind of material is also allowed.

The whole point of it I suppose would have been to reassure this new poster and make him feel welcome with whatever he posts by getting an official opinion on it at least one more time. I think people have every right to expect tickling artwork here, but I also like to encourage artwork in general. I guess thats just me as an artist.
