hi
here's an article which says that astronauts are going to have their feet tickled when they get back from a mission to test the effect of space travel on foot sensitivity
http://www.nationalpost.com/news/canada/story.html?id=3060919
now then, two things are interesting about this i think:
firstly, anything where people get tickled is awsome
secondly, tickling is now recognized as a fetish by mainstream media
yay!!! we rock! we must be having some influence on the world... i bet 10 or 5 years ago no one would have used fetish in relation to tickling
it's only short so here is the text from the article

A Wilfrid Laurier University professor will combine fetish and space travel this month in a truly bizarre act of scientific inquiry. Stephen Perry will tickle the feet of astronauts returning from a mission on space shuttle Atlantis for a research project measuring the influence of space travel on foot sensitivity. "The importance of footsole sensation in balance control has been well-documented," said Mr. Perry, who hopes his latest experiment will determine whether weightlessness improves equilibrium. Mr. Perry has already developed a special shoe that alerts seniors when they are listing too much, reducing fall-related injuries. The four-person research team from Guelph and Laurier that will conduct the tickling could not be reached to say whether they will use feathers, blades of grass or bare fingers.
