News story: Foot fetishist on loose in Boston

Yet another person putting all us foot lovers to shame, making the nation think we're all creepy idiots😡
 
He's on his way to becoming a rapist or a serial killer. *shakes head*
 
There are sane and safe ways to indulge an interest in feet, he ought to discover that.
 
OK, I'm a bit baffled by the responses on this board to this story (and little evidence of tongues in cheek).

The only difference I can see between this guy and many of us is that he touched yoga woman Annie and took her sock or was reported as a pest in a store. If you listen to the video, the reporter said "the women were willing participants in the ... man's foot fetish" so he must have asked to take the pictures and touch the girls' feet - maybe even paid them. Anyone here ever done that?

Remember: "Liking feet is not a crime." Bianca, and the police, said so - no criminal intent. This guy isn't putting us foot lovers to shame - the media is! And of course they were quickly able to find people that said "Ewww" or "That's bizarre."

We love it when folks post mainstream pics but curse them when they get caught doing it ... now THAT'S bizarre.
 
The nonconsensual touching is exactly the important difference.
 
I think there are two things here.
1)The guy overstepped his bounds when he stole the yoga person’s sock. Also if he did hug the women when she didn’t want the contact. Snapping pictures of anything in public is not against the law. I wouldn’t do it, I think it is rude without someone’s permission, but it isn’t against the law.

2)I think the news channel was trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. It is amazing how far the news people will go to try and make a story seem bigger than it is. They seem to love to try and get people scared of little things.
They showed people saying that’s weird, but how many people did they ask to get those responses. I wonder if anyone said that it wasn’t that bad.
I have a friend that is a camera man for the local news in Seattle. He tells me sometime how they cut out a lot of people’s reactions just to get the ones that play on people’s fears the most. He would tell me how the news media twist the news so much just to get the story they want; which isn’t always the truth. So watch the news with a little skepticism.

I could not read the text of look at the file as it seems to be gone now for some reason. But if this guy was taking pictures, isnt there a guy who post on here with a site dedicted to barefoot women in city parks? He seems to lurk around and take pictures on the sly that Ive seen openly posted on this site.
