A member of the Los Angeles Rams Fearsome Foursome defensive line with Rosie Greer, Lamar Lundy and Merlin Olson, Jones kept NFL quarterbacks on the run for a decade, with the Rams and several other teams later in his career. I never got to see Deacon play in person, but watched him many times on TV. One of the true greats. R.I.P. Deacon.
