The TNF game was another clunker, Jags 20 Titans 7. Will this be the year the Titans give up on Mariota?

The Ravens-Chiefs game lived up to the hype. The Chiefs sealed a 33-28 win with a crucial third and nine conversion with less than 2 minutes remaining. Mahomes finished 27 of 37 for 374 yards and three scores. That gives him 1,195 yards, 10 touchdowns and no interceptions in three games. The defense gave up some big plays but kept Baltimore from converting on three two point tries. I find it encouraging that the defense is not committing the bonehead penalties that plagued them during the Sutton years.

Dallas rolls over Miami 31-16. Are the Dolphins doomed to join the 0-16 club?

The Packers over Denver 27-16.

Andrew who? Colts 27 Falcons 24.

The Vikings pound Oakland 34-14.

NE 30 Jets 14.

What's up with the Lions? Last week they shocked the Chargers. Today they visit the Eagles and come out on top 27-24.

The Bills go to 3-0 with a 21-17 win over the Bengals.

Thanks to the Texans for knocking off the Chargers 27-20. 😀

49ers drop the Steelers to 0-3 with a 24-20 win. If Mike Tomlin was already on the hot seat the temperature just got turned up.

The Panthers didn't miss Cam Newton today with a 38-20 win over Arizona.

The Saints go marching in to Seattle and come out on top 33-27.

Giants win a squeaker over the Bucs 32-31.

My main takeaways from week 3:

The Patriots are still the Patriots. Antonio Brown or not.
The Jets are still the Jets. Mono? Seriously?
The Steelers miss Brown, Bell, and Big Ben severely.
The Browns are certainly better, but not ready for primetime.
Pat Mahomes may exceed his 2018 numbers.
Cam Newton is not the same. He's already been ruled out for Week 4.
Daniel Jones looked good, but it was just one game. And with Barkley out 4-8 weeks, he'll really have to step up now.
Tampa Bay kickers are cursed.
Watch out for the Bills. I don't think they'll unseat the Patriots, but they're a team to watch.
Lamar Jackson has shown that he can throw. I don't like the Ravens, but I'm rooting for Lamar bigtime.

I'll have another take after tonights game, but if I had to guess on what's gonna happen, it'll be another MNF letdown for my Redskins. I said this last year on here, for some reason the Redskins are always dogshit on Monday Night. And this has been a thing dating back to 1998. Since then, they're just 5-23 on MNF. Their biggest win margin being just 13 points in 2000, and a lot of their loses being blowouts.

They really are a mess. I wonder if Bell is having second thoughts.

And I'm loving it. 😀

Mayfield looked lost against the Rams.

Pat Mahomes may exceed his 2018 numbers.

That offense must keep opposing coaches awake at night. When they get Hill back and run him out with Kelce, McCoy, Hardman, Williams and Watkins what do you do? Can't cover all of them.

He hasn't been the same the last few years. There was speculation on NFL Network today he may not be in Carolina next year.

Same here. There's no quit in that young man. He made some great plays yesterday and has the potential to be a very good and maybe a great QB.

It's been sad watching Snyder run that storied franchise into the ground. I'm afraid things may not get better until he's gone one way or another.

We're currently at halftime, and the game is over. They're making Mitch Trubisky look like a pro-bowler. In two games this season he had no TD passes, tonight he has three in the first half. I told ya, Redskins and MNF=Bad things.

Heads....need....to....roll

The ineptitude displayed by Washington is almost painful to watch. In the first half they had enough laundry thrown at them to sink a small ship. I'll be surprised if Gruden isn't fired as soon as tomorrow.

As someone who endured decades of Chiefs futility I feel for you.

This just adds to the legacy of Redskins on MNF ineptitude. This goes back to 98, and these are just some of the embarrassments

Getting destroyed by Steve Young and the 49ers in 98
Getting embarrassed by Green Bay in 2001, their first game after 9/11
Fumbling away a game late against the Cowboys in 2001
The Steve Spurrier lips game in 2002 against the Eagles https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZBJTXyDL7g
Losing to an old as hell Brad Johnson to open 2006
Having Steelers fans take over FedexField in 2008
Going into a game vs the Eagles with a new offensive play caller who the previous week was calling bingo games
The fake field goal game vs the Giants in 2009 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-tqLG__Al4
Michael Vick having arguably the best single game performance by a QB ever in 2010
Getting run over by Chip Kelly in his debut game in 2013
Laying an egg in a must win game vs the Panthers in 2016
Drew Brees torching us and setting the all-time passing yards record in 2018
And now tonight in 2019, making Mitch Trubisky look like a pro-bowl QB

And regarding the Chiefs, everyone talks about their struggles, especially in the 90s, but at least they got some playoff appearances in there. We in DC would kill for that.
