Nhl

I would too, if it would help 🙁 Sadly, it won't make one iota of a difference.... the season, and maybe next, is lost :sowrong:

I feel sorry for the people who really followed it every day. I was a big fan, once...back in the real good old days, when there was only like twelve or fourteen teams, in cities that mattered, instead of Nashville, or Raleigh, which are like double-A baseball towns, or Columbus, triple-A, and the league wasn't filled with huge defensemen playing all positions on the ice, and no forwards that could score, much less ones with names that you can pronounce. Today, for me, the NHL has proved itself to be superfluous. I don't miss it at all...and I'm certainly not gonna part with like $85 plus a ticket for this product. Forget it. I'll pay far less to see the Trenton Titans and probably enjoy it more...
The NCAA schedule's just starting to get warm...March Madness isn't that far away, anyhow. Basketball like it oughta be.

Said it before and will say it again....Can't wait for the NHL to come back..... Tired of all the sissy sports.

Damn I miss Hockey! A year without going to Madison Square Garden for hockey is driving me insane! Sam Rosen and JD must be bored do death !

Ed, I gave up on the Mighty Morbid Stinko-Rangers a while ago, and added years on to my life. So will you.

R.I.P. NHL

I loved the NHL too but alas its a lost cause. They say the labor strike will not only engulf this year but most likely next year as well! The source of that news? The GM of the Phoenix Coyotes and hockeys greatest player Wayne Gretsky, id say hes a pretty reliable source. What sport could survive not having its product out for 2 years? None! Sadly after all is said and done maybe in 2007 or 2008 the NHL will resume again and all the young stars of today will be older, out of shape and out of sync. The NHL will be about as popular as indoor lacrosse and most definitely less popular than soccer. I was a Ranger fan too, even have a Mark Messier throwback jersey but its on ebay now for hockey is dead...thanks for the memories guys and rest in peace!
