I used the image editing software that came with my PC. It was called Corel Photo House.
Initially, these scans were posted to a Usenet Newsgroup called alt.multimedia.tk which was more commonly abbreviated to AMT. After I'd posted a few hundred of them, people began asking for Index sheets (thumbs). It was a common practice in those days. Most of us were using 56k dialup modems, and bandwidth was limited. People wanted to be able to pick and choose from the Index thumbs which images appealed to them. Some like only foot tickling, others prefer upper body, etc.
The first Index I did started at drew700500. If you look at it, you'll see it's messy and haphazard. As time went on, I began neatening them up. Ultimately I indexed the first 500 scans as well, once I had a good technique down.
