See this disclaimer from laughinggaszone.net,a respected producer of videos.Leave it alone.
WARNING: laughing gas (nitrous oxide/n2o) is an EXTREMELY dangerous anesthetic.
We do not condone the use of laughing gas and strongly urge people NOT to attempt to
use it recreationally. Use by anyone but trained professionals can lead to serious injury
(brain damage and neurological disorders) and even death (asphyxiation)! Enjoy the
fantasy, but leave the real stuff alone. It isn't worth the risk!
Let's be fair here. I am not claiming nitrous is safe, but a website like this kinda sorta maybe HAS to put this disclaimer up to cover their ass from the idiot who goes to the site, decides to inhale a lot of nitrous, decides to sue the site, and gets awarded a shitload of money by a jury of our not-so-bright peers?
I've never used nitrous, it never appealed much to me. but as someone who is avidly pro-choice w/r/t drug-use, i don't think several of the blanket anti-inebriation arguments on this thread hold that much water.
Nitrous is dangerous - Well, yes. I believe it literally causes brain cells to die. Doing a hit of nitrous for fun (before a tickling session if that's what you enjoy, or whenever) is most likely not going to adversely affect your health. And I don't think 100 hits across your lifetime would either. I'm not familiar with this drug, but generally speaking you need to do something harmful quite a few times to do genuine damage to the body.
Addiction - possible I suppose, but not really relevant? One could become addicted to booze, weed, whatever else they might consume for fun. And I think these substances have been mentioned in threads without the addiction component being a big aspect of it. If you're prone to addiction, you probably shouldn't use drugs.
You don't need chemicals to enhance your experience - absolutely true. But some of us choose to because we enjoy it. I drink alcohol at parties. I smoke weed at concerts. I don't need them, but i like them. To each his own, and that comment seems unfairly narrow-minded and critical to me
I would suggest, if you wanted to try it, to be genuinely informed about what you're taking and the risks involved. But I don't think the warnings on this thread thus far have been substantial. Seems more "drugs are BAD, no no no!"
