I have a bunch of tapes of mainstream material that I'm finally getting around to creating clips of. Since I'm new to this, I really don't know what the heck I'm doing. Does anyone know of a good resource on the web for creating clips (such as how to tweak video and audio settings when capturing, etc)? The problem I'm having at the moment is a wavy line at the bottom. I'm capturing from a vcr using the Hauppauge WinTV software that came with the card.
Also, how do you encode in wmv? That's not my favorite format, but it seems like it's what most everyone here is comfortable with. Thanks for any help.
