The Swedish Academy just awarded Doris Lessing this year's Nobel Prize for Literature. In her novel, Memoirs of a Survivor, she describes a young girl being held down and tickle-tortured by her father. In Under My Skin, the first volume of her autobiography, Lessing talks about this happening to her when she herself was a young girl. Both are worth a look, if you like that sort of thing.
