You know, as much as I'm logically seeing New England, Pittsburgh or Indianapolis, there's this nagging part of my brain that's saying San Diego...San Diego....

The last seven years have had at least one surprise team, why not the Chargers? Who thought the Panthers last year, even right before the playoffs? It was "Yeah, they're good, but they're not gonna get through Philly, St. Louis or Green Bay."

As far as the NFC goes...feel free to ridicule away. I'm a big boy, I can take it, bud. 😎 I still stand by my assertation that the NFC, while anemic-looking, isn't AS bad as it loks on paper. Most of these teams have played each other in hard, close games that tend to even out the records. I mean, yeah the NFC blows this year...but who the hell knows? Can't say as I'd lose any sleep over an NFC team pulling one out of thier asses this year.

Those whispers you guys hear is just the way B-u-f-f-a-l-o sounds in the winds of hope...lol. IF they get in I'll be rooting for them to make a Cinderella run, but it's a definite Jekyll and Hyde team so far this year. Otoh, they put a nice whupping on New England last year...about the only team to do so.

Basically I'm keeping my money in my pocket this time around...the NFLs "any given Sunday" axiom seems to be all too true this season.
